About Us

Long before Southern York Turf & Tractor, Inc. was founded in 1992, there was a business in Glen Rock, Pa, known as Neuhauses. Owned by a local pair of entrepreneurial brothers. Neuhauses was a popular shop selling everything from plows and other lawn & garden equipment to dynamite. Located on the rail line, the train would arrive with merchandise that would be off loaded and sold to the store's many dedicated customers. The store was a local fixture for more than 90 years, going through different ownership. In 1992 the store's name was changed to Southern York Turf & Tractor, as a chance to give the business a new identity and a fresh new start as it is being owned and operated by a few of the local employees.
